Worship Services

Educational Programs

The church often runs Sunday schools, Bible study groups, and theological training sessions. These programs are aimed at deepening the understanding of Christian teachings and equipping members with the knowledge to live out their faith.

CHETO (Christian Effort to Help Orphans)

We also have a faith-based organization dedicated to the care, support, and empowerment of orphans. Founded on Christian principles, CHETO operates with the mission of providing a loving and nurturing environment for children who have lost their parents, offering them not only physical sustenance but also emotional and spiritual guidance.

About Us

South Sudanese Gospel Mission Church

The South Sudanese Gospel Mission Church (SSGMC) is a non-profitable church organization set up in 1999 by a group of South Sudanese refugees in the Netherlands, under the leadership of Rev. Christopher Drale. It was set up with a solid aim to help bring together South Sudanese living in the Netherlands and to provide humanitarian assistance to fellow South Sudanese refugees living in the camps, in northern Uganda Due to the civil war that broke in 2013.

Our Ministries & Projects

Church and Theological College

Atidrira Theological College opened on May 5th 2006, with 10 students studying for a Diploma in Theology.

Adult Education

As the school grows and new students are added each year more buildings will be needed to provide further classrooms and housing.

Care of Orphans

We built a church and an orphanage in one of the Refugee camps, supplied a pastor for the church and care and schooling for the orphans.

Medical

In order to provide medical care for the orphans and general population in the Loa area it was decided to build a medical centre there.

Agriculture

Development of agriculture is essential. As quickly as possible after returning to their home areas, displaced people need to be self supporting.

Water and Sanitation

Water is extremely important for life, but supplying this commodity to villages and communities in Sudan is always extremely difficult and costly.
